Rugged coastal hike to the remote northwestern tip of Oʻahu, known for crashing waves, epic mountain views, seabirds, and Hawaiian history.
- Sacred spot: said to be where souls leap into the afterlife
- Nesting site for albatross (Moli) and frigatebirds (‘Iwa) — November through July.
- Access from Waiʻanae side offers better views; north side also possible
- Bring water, sun protection, and check signage. Leave well before the 7pm gate closure.
- Pair with a beach stop at Yokohama Bay or Makua Beach
