Came here a lot growing up. Small, picturesque cove on the North Shore between Waimea Bay and Shark’s Cove. Named for the three flat reef formations visible at low tide, it’s one of the best snorkeling spots during calm summer months when the surf is low.

• Only snorkel here when the water is flat—dangerous during winter swells
• Park at neighboring lot in Pupukea (link below). Restrooms here as well.
• Great alternative to busy Waimea Bay just down the road
• Easy to pair with food from nearby food trucks or a lunch stop in Haleʻiwa
